Shear was a live performance art piece under Boulevard Ville Marie. Sadie is standing in the rubble under the overpass. There is graffiti and debris everywhere. Sadie is dressed in feminine business attire. They put down their briefcase, strip down to their underwear and shave their head. The performer was silent throughout the entire piece, allowing the soundscape of the overhead to clash with the sound of the buzzer. This piece was a critique on gender roles, career goals, and the systemic structures that uphold these values.

The performance was accompanied by music provided by Atsuko Chiba.
